رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا  جس نے یہ کلمات کہے تو اس کے گناہ معاف کر دئیے جائیں گے  اگرچہ وہ میدان جنگ سے بھاگ گیا ہو ۱  أستغفر الله الذي لا إله إلا هو الحي القيوم وأتوب إليه  سنن ابو داوود جلد ١-١٥٠٤ - صحیح  ------ ------ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: جو کوئی استغفار  کو اپنے پر لازم  کر لے  تو اللہ اس کے لیے ہر تنگی سے نکلنے اور ہر رنج سے نجات پانے کی راہ ہموار کر دے گا اور اسے ایسی جگہ سے رزق عطا فرمائے گا، جس کا وہ تصور بھی نہیں کر سکتا ۔ المعجم الكبير للطبراني ,١٠٥٢٤  صحیح ------ ------ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا  ا ے لوگوں الله سبحانه سے توبہ کرو میں دن میں ١٠٠ مرتبہ الله سبحانه سے توبہ کرتا ہوں  صحیح مسلم جلد ٦ ، ٦٨٥٩  ------ ------ نبی صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سے روایت کی کہ آپ نے فرمایا: اللہ عزوجل رات کو اپنا دست ( رحمت بندوں کی طرف ) پھیلا دیتا ہے تاکہ دن کو گناہ کرنے والا توبہ کرے اور دن کو اپنا دست ( رحمت ) پھیلا دیتا ہے تاکہ رات کو گناہ کرنے والا توبہ کرے ( اور وہ اس وقت تک یہی کرتا رہے گا ) یہاں تک کہ

✦ रसूल-अल्लाह सल-अल्लाहू अलैही वसल्लम ने फरमाया जिसने  ये कलिमत कहे तो उसके गुनाह माफ़ कर दिए जायेंगे चाहे वो मैदान ए जंग से भाग गया हो  أستغفر الله الذي لا إله إلا هو الحي القيوم وأتوب إليه अस्तगफिरुल्लाहल्लज़ी ला इलाहा इल्ला हुवा अल हय्युल-कय्यूम वा अतुबू इलैही  तर्जुमा : मैं अल्लाह से अपने गुनाहों की माफ़ी मांगता हूँ जिसके सिवा कोई इबादत के लायक नहीं जो जिंदा और हमेशा रहने वाला है और मैं उसी की तरफ तौबा करता हूँ  सुनन अबू दाऊद , जिल्द 1, 1504 -सही  ---------- ✦ रसूल-अल्लाह सल-अल्लाहू अलैही वसल्लम ने फरमाया जो अस्तिग्फार (तौबा) करने को अपने ऊपर लाजिम कर ले तो अल्लाह सुबहानहु उसको हर तंगी से निकलने का एक रास्ता अता फरमाएगा और हर गम से निजात देगा और ऐसी जगह से रोज़ी अता फरमाएगा जहाँ से उसको गुमान भी नहीं होगा  मुअज्जम अल कबीर तबरानी , सही  ---------- ✦ रसूल-अल्लाह सल-अल्लाहू अलैही वसल्लम ने फरमाया एह लोगो अल्लाह सुबहानहु से तौबा करो, मैं दिन में 100 मर्तबा अल्लाह सुबहानहु से तौबा करता हूँ  सही मुस्लिम, जिल्द 6,68 ---------- ✦ रसूल-अल्लाह सल-अल्लाहू अलैही
